From April 27 to 30, 2026, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre will host a new edition of Home InStyle, now a must-attend event for home design and lifestyle professionals. Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), this event is part of a dynamic series of joint fairs that have proven successful in recent years, bringing together nearly 100,000 buyers from 131 countries and regions.

A fair that grows richer with each edition

The 2025 edition also innovated by launching the Gerontech and Innovation Pavilion, an area entirely dedicated to solutions for aging well. This pavilion, which gathered around ten local companies, successfully appealed to international markets, offering inspiring new directions for the future. Covering all key lifestyle themes, Home InStyle continues to assert itself as a must-attend event for professionals. The next edition will highlight new themes such as sustainability, responsible design, renewed partnerships with Pantone, and a focus on innovation around new uses.

An optimistic vision despite uncertainties

Despite an uncertain global economic context marked by geopolitical tensions and inflationary pressures, outlooks remain positive. A survey conducted by the HKTDC among more than 1,500 professionals revealed that nearly half of respondents expect sales to increase within two years, while most anticipate stability or moderate growth.

The most promising geographical zones identified by professionals include Mainland China, India, Taiwan, South Korea, and ASEAN countries. As for export priorities in the coming months, Europe comes first, followed by Southeast Asia, Japan, North America, and Korea. These ambitions are based on a wide range of products, from gifts to toys, fashion accessories, tableware, lighting, and even tech innovations.

The Greater Bay Area: an exceptional growth driver

The 2026 edition will once again spotlight the Greater Bay Area, linking Hong Kong, Macao, and nine Guangdong cities. This economic basin of more than 86 million inhabitants is experiencing increasing integration, supported by intergovernmental agreements and strong political backing. It now represents a complete ecosystem, ideal for developing regional activities while maintaining an international perspective.

Next step for French export managers: a not-to-miss meeting with the HKTDC

As every year, Home Fashion News will support French companies wishing to attend the fair and explore the opportunities offered by the HKTDC. ManLin Sun, director of the HKTDC Paris office, is available to advise and guide interested exporters.
