New “Icon” Slicer by Berkel – The perfect balance
Berkel unveils its brand-new electric slicer. An entry-level product in name only, as it combines design, performance, and practicality with exceptional precision.
With its sleek look inspired by the legendary “Volano” flywheel, the “Icon” slicer blends elegance and efficiency. Available in red or black, it adapts to all kitchen styles. Compact (52 x 27 x 32.6 cm) and lightweight (10.5 kg), it is discreet yet refined. Its 17 cm chrome-steel blade ensures consistent cutting, even with tougher foods (ham, bread, vegetables, cheese…). Adjustable from 0 to 18 mm, it offers great versatility with a circular cutting capacity of 14 cm or a rectangular one of 20 x 14 cm. The inclined surface and deflector make slicing effortless and clean. Without an integrated tray, it allows direct presentation on a board or plate, simplifying both handling and cleaning.
Safety features include automatic locking, a protective ring, removable pusher, and central “stop” button.
