Zwilling group highlights its technical heritage through key innovations
After several years of absence, Zwilling Group confirms its return to Ambiente in Frankfurt, with a presence conceived as a strong signal to the international market. Housed in a premium two-level stand, the group has opted for a selective scenography, prioritising clarity around its strategic pillars and the enhancement of its brands rather than an exhaustive presentation of its collections.

An approach fully aligned with the stated ambition to make a lasting impression on the occasion of this highly anticipated return.
Zwilling makes its much-anticipated return to Ambiente, between a heritage of innovation and new product dynamics
Among the highlights of this edition is the presentation of the Unlock concept, described as a structuring innovation for Zwilling. Far more than a cookware range, this global concept combines cooking and vacuum storage within a single ecosystem. Containers are fully compatible with one another, lids are designed for both cooking and vacuum sealing after cooling, and the detachable handle allows seamless transition between uses. Unlock thus responds to a strong market expectation—particularly in France—while offering a rational and sustainable approach to kitchen equipment. This momentum will be extended at the end of the summer with the launch of the new all-stainless-steel version of Fresh&Save, another key pillar of the group’s food preservation offering. The trade fair will also provide an opportunity to celebrate a major milestone in the brand’s history, with the anniversary of the Four Star knife. Launched in 1976, it has become Zwilling’s global best-seller over the decades. A true breakthrough at the time, this model marked a turning point in cutlery thanks to its seamlessly moulded synthetic handle, ensuring ergonomics, hygiene and durability. Through Four Star, the brand reaffirms an identity deeply rooted in innovation, illustrated by three major breakthroughs that have shaped its history: Friodur technology, the Four Star knife itself, and the multifunctional Zwilling kitchen shears, which have become a global reference and a true design icon.
At Ambiente, the group also highlights the complementarity of its brand portfolio. Zwilling remains the group’s historical and technological backbone, while Staub embodies a pursuit of excellence through its emblematic expertise in enamelled cast iron. Ballarini, a family-run Italian company since 1889, represents the group’s know-how in everyday cooking, while Miyabi, whose knives are made in Seki, Japan, recorded very strong sales growth in 2025—the year of its 20th anniversary. Demeyere completes the portfolio with a demanding, distinctly technical approach to stainless-steel cookware. Finally, the Zwilling Group will use its return to Frankfurt to confirm a structuring decision taken in autumn 2025: the complete discontinuation of coatings containing PFAS. All products across its brands will now be equipped with the ceramic Ceraforce coating, developed at the heart of the Ballarini factory. The result of many years of research and development, this PFAS-free multilayer coating is internally formulated from a specific alloy of several ceramics and assembled in-house. An exclusive and particularly durable technology, it reflects the group’s high standards in terms of performance, safety and industrial mastery.
Ceraforce the next generation of ceramic coatings

Developed by the Zwilling Group to support the transition towards PFAS-free alternatives, Ceraforcerepresents a new generation of ceramic coatings designed to meet the demands of everyday use. Made from inorganic materials, this non-stick coating is applied using a water-based sol-gel process, ensuring a healthy, stable and heat-resistant surface without compromising ease of use. Conceived to strike a controlled balance between performance and durability, Ceraforce marks a clear step forward compared with earlier generations of ceramic coatings. Internal tests conducted by the group demonstrate increased scratch resistance and a lifespan up to three times longer, while maintaining non-stick properties suited to everyday cooking. The technology is also available in a reinforced Ceraforce Titanium version, which incorporates a titanium layer to further extend the coating’s lifespan and support the most intensive uses.
