At Deejo, the knife has long transcended its purely utilitarian function. The French brand is now expanding its artistic collection by entrusting its famous blade to Kalie, one of the leading figures in contemporary tattooing.

At Deejo, every model is conceived as a medium of expression where design, craftsmanship and contemporary creativity come together. In keeping with this approach, the French brand continues its partnership with Tatouages Magazine by inviting Kalie to create a new limited edition. A major figure on the international tattoo scene, the artist brings her distinctive graphic universe to Deejo’s famous blade.
This collaboration forms part of the journey of an artist who, for the past eighteen years, has continuously explored new forms of expression. From neo-traditional Japanese tattooing to ultra-realism, Kalie constantly pushes the boundaries of her art. Her work, which has received extensive media coverage, has helped change perceptions of tattooing, now recognised as an artistic discipline in its own right.
For Deejo, Kalie has created an original composition in which the power of her lines is combined with remarkable finesse of execution. Produced in a 37-gram version, with a grey titanium finish and an ebony wood handle, this limited edition retains the elegance and lightness that define Deejo knives while giving them a distinctly contemporary character.
It forms part of the artistic dialogue between Deejo and Tatouages Magazine, bringing together leading international tattoo artists around a shared challenge: turning the blade into a true medium of expression. Following Tin-Tin, Maud Dardeau, Jondix, Filip Leu, Diego Moraes, Guen Douglas, Mikael de Poissy and Wazzim Razzouk, Kalie now adds her own signature to the collection, confirming Deejo’s ability to transform an everyday object into a unique creation.
At Maison&Objet, Deejo will expand its universe with a carving set produced in a limited edition of just 2,500 pieces. This new launch reflects the brand’s ambition to extend its aesthetic language to new uses. At the same time, its sister brand Akinod will unveil new decorative designs, confirming the creative momentum shared by both brands.
