Fissler – 180 years of culinary innovation
Since 1845, German brand Fissler has shaped the history of premium cooking. From a small forge in Idar-Oberstein to its global reach, the company embodies the excellence of family know-how passed down through six generations. A living heritage company, Fissler blends tradition and modernity with uncompromising standards. Its new products will be showcased at Maison&Objet on the Billiet stand, distributor of the brand in France.

It all began with Carl Philipp Fissler, a young visionary craftsman who created his first stewpot in a small workshop in Rhineland-Palatinate. Nearly two centuries later, Fissler has become a global reference, employing 800 collaborators and still run by the same family. Known worldwide for its sturdy pots and pans, the brand has always been synonymous with progress. Over 70 years, it has registered more than 200 patents. From the invention of the famous “Vitavit” pressure cooker in 1953, to the latest generation of PFAS/PFTE-free pans, Fissler has established itself as a pioneer, transforming everyday cooking into a safe, creative, and enjoyable experience.
For Fissler, cooking is not just a technical act but “an act of love, sharing, and responsibility.” Its commitment rests on four pillars: quality, durability, pleasure, and practicality. Every product is crafted with precision, manufactured in Germany from premium materials, with constant attention to reducing environmental impact and passing on an art of living. The company emphasizes a deeply human approach: cooking means honoring ingredients, artisans, and guests.
Fissler is not a brand stuck in its past. On the contrary, it continues to reinvent itself with rigor and consistency, without ever betraying its DNA. Its cookware collections reflect its creative vitality and ability to meet diverse expectations. The “Original-Profi Collection,” launched in 1973, has become a benchmark for both professional chefs and passionate cooks. The “Vitavit” pressure cooker, a true icon, celebrates its 70th anniversary this year with a refreshed identity and 1950s-inspired design. Attuned to today’s concerns, the brand developed “Ceratal,” a PFAS- and PTFE-free range with an innovative water-based non-stick coating, perfectly suited for healthy cooking. Finally, with the “Pure Collection,” made from 90% recycled stainless steel, Fissler proves that innovation, durability, and aesthetics can be united in a single philosophy.
