In Milan, De’Longhi blends signature design and exceptional aroma
When design meets the art of coffee: a look back at De’Longhi’s immersive experience at “Milano Design Week 2025.”

On the occasion of Milano Design Week 2025, held from April 7 to 13, De’Longhi brought Milan to life with the rhythm of coffee and design. Through its “Perfetto District,” the Italian brand offered a unique sensory experience combining artisanal know-how, technological innovation, and contemporary aesthetics.
The main attraction was a historic tram transformed into a traveling coffee shop, leaving a strong impression at this global design event. Onboard, visitors joined immersive workshops led by experts, exploring the subtle art of extraction and bespoke recipe creation. Outside, the tram showcased the bold illustrations of ScombinAnto – alias Antonio Colomboni – turning this mode of transport into a moving urban artwork, paying vibrant tribute to the alliance of Italian design and coffee culture. His graphic style, both spontaneous and poetic, added an urban flair to De’Longhi’s elegance, making each journey a true aesthetic experience.
The “Perfetto District” extended beyond this emblematic tram, spreading across nine Milanese venues. Visitors discovered tastings, coffee machine showcases, and artistic installations. This journey intertwined the worlds of design and coffee culture in partner spaces such as LAGO, My Style Bags, and Ditta Artigianale. Each stop offered a unique perspective on the coffee ritual, balancing Italian tradition with cosmopolitan modernity.
Rivelia Limited Edition
As the highlight of the activation, De’Longhi used Design Week to exclusively launch its limited-edition Rivelia. This automatic espresso grinder, reimagined with ScombinAnto’s illustrations, became a true collector’s piece, embodying the fusion of cutting-edge technology and artistic expression.
