2026 marks a major milestone for Arc 1825. With the new Chef&Sommelier « Galéa » and « Mylla » collections, both manufactured in France, the group enters a new chapter in premium tasting glassware. Combining industrial expertise with advanced oenological research, these collections push the limits of finesse while addressing the needs of hospitality professionals, specialist tableware retailers and premium home décor stores.

Presented at Maison&Objet, the Galéa and Mylla collections represent a particularly accomplished offering. Made in France, they combine industrial expertise, exacting oenological standards and exceptional finesse to deliver a high-precision tasting experience. Initially developed for hotels, restaurants and wine professionals, the collections also open new opportunities for specialist tableware retailers and décor boutiques seeking to enrich their offer with outstanding French glassmaking expertise.
This performance is made possible by a major evolution of Krysta, Chef&Sommelier’s signature crystal material. It enables the creation of the Extra-Fin range, featuring an ultra-thin 0.7 mm rim, a significantly lighter stem and walls that are on average 40% thinner than previous collections, while maintaining exceptional strength. A 98.8% transparency index ensures faithful colour rendition, while long-lasting brilliance is preserved even under the intensive conditions of professional hospitality.
Both collections transform technical expertise into a genuine sensory experience. Their elegant stems, perfectly balanced bases and ultra-fine rims feel remarkably delicate in the hand. Behind their apparent simplicity, each silhouette guides aromas naturally toward the nose while enhancing the wine on the palate.
Designed with generous curves, Galéa enhances fruit expression, roundness and texture. More angular and geometric, Mylla emphasises freshness, tension and aromatic precision, revealing the minerality and elegance of the finest terroirs. Both collections meet the demanding standards of fine-dining restaurants and luxury hospitality while also being available to consumers through specialist retail networks.
Maison&Objet Special: A Masterclass on the Influence of Glass
At Maison&Objet, Chef&Sommelier will be present on the stand of Bilet, the brand’s long-standing partner for the hospitality sector, and Amefa, its distributor for specialist retail. Visitors will discover the Galéa and Mylla collections alongside the glassmaking expertise developed by Arc 1825 to meet the expectations of fine dining, hospitality and specialist retail. On Friday, 11 September, from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm, the brand will host the masterclass « How does the choice of glass influence the perception of wine? » in the Filière France area within the Cook & Share sector. Led by Marine Bouin, Tasting Expert and Chef&Sommelier Brand Ambassador, the comparative sensory workshop will demonstrate how the shape, opening and volume of a glass influence perceived aromas, mouthfeel and the overall balance of the same wine. By showcasing Arc 1825’s glassmaking expertise, the session will provide professionals with practical insights to enhance the tasting experiences they offer their customers.
